The Course Map

Welcome to our course taxonomy of sorts. We’ve listed every course, quick tip, riff, run, technique, and live-training here and organized them by difficulty. Let me share how I derived these.

As many of you know, I don’t particularly like the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced labels as they are relatively arbitrary. I could have easily used Levels 1, 2, and 3. However, these names have great utility. For the quick tips, riffs, and runs, these names represent a taxonomy of how difficult each is to execute. For the rest of the courses, this represents the level of previous knowledge required to understand.

Beginners

These are great courses, suitable for those just starting out up to those who would almost consider themselves intermediate.

Intermediate

These are the intermediate courses and are suitable for most musicians as this is the widest category.

Advanced

These are the advanced courses in the membership. These courses either require more skill to execute or more prerequisite knowledge.
